To me, this was the most interesting announcement last week at WWDC. It's Apple using privacy as a differentiator to go after one of the most important aspects of the Internet: Identity.
Where Facebook and Google talked a lot about their commitment to privacy at their developer conferences, Apple demonstrated their commitment by actually shipping something new that challenges the status quo.
And they're using their leverage with the App Store to ensure some meaningful amount of immediate distribution.
Excited to see how this unfolds.
